S.G.S Limited has built a reputation with clients by working with them to obtain the most cost effective and multi task scaffolds and access for their projects. With larger projects, the earlier that S.G.S can get involved the better for the client as we will use our experience and technical knowledge to assist our client as much as possible.

As the company has grown we have successfully carried out larger projects including in the P.F.I. sector such as Burnley General Hospital; St. James Oncology and Retford St. Giles & Oaks Schools.

Through our training program, we ensure that clients have a workforce available that is up to date with professional and safety best practice. We also carry out regular documented Site Safety Audits with an external body to ensure that standards are kept up.

Every site has a dedicated Contract Manager who will liaise with the client on a regular basis, each gang of scaffolders has a chargehand to ensure that work is completed in a professional and safe manner and to schedule.

We are long time members of the National Access & Scaffolding Confederation [NASC] [No. 2744] who carried out an audit on the company in April 2006. This covered equipment security, CISRS card holding, training & safety and was very positive. We have also had similar successful audits carried out by Total Lindsey Oil Refinery; Conoco ICHP; C. Spencer Rail; Clugston Construction; HBG Construction; Amec and Bovis LendLease and been awarded preferred vendor status with these and other companies.

S.G.S Limited also holds an Asbestos Licence [No. 4010604553] for scaffolding from the HSE; a Link-up Certificate [No. 20527] for Rail work and an Impress Humber Bank Contractor Competency Forum Certificate [No. 073], we are also registered as a CIS5 with the Inland Revenue.
